New Birbs!!

The sparrows, starlings, doves, and pigeons are all around again and the blue jays do make their visits still. However, I've been noticing a new bird hanging around and I believe they're the slate-coloured dark-eyed junco! And just a few minutes ago we got visited by a downy woodpecker!!

I was so shocked to see a woodpecker around here, but I am so happy! I hope they'll come back again because the juncos are already cozied up among the other birds already and it's been wonderful to see them.

Ooh, that sounds lovely! Spring is here :')

I've been seeing lots of robins in my area, so it's pretty cool to keep an eye out for all the birds coming around!

Spring is here indeed! We're still getting chilly weather, but it's not freezing and I'll take it. I'd rather the gradual increase to warmer weather because I know that hot, humid summer is just around the corner and I don't know if I'm ready for it yet haha

Robins are great! I love teasing them, particularly when there's the one male doing his lil call and I mimic it (as best as I can) and it gets all huffy puffy trying to find where the other robin is that dares to claim their territory hee hee hee
