A Story's Revelation

So late last night, just when I was getting all snug and cozy and semi-drifting off to sleep I mentioned I had a revelation for a story of mine so important that I got up to make sure I write it down lest I forget it.

 

Was I able to get enough sleep last night? No

 

Do I regret doing this? Nope

 

The bout of inspiration, this moment of realization, of understanding, a true revelation to the story fixed an area that has been a road block since basically the beginning of making this story. This is huge! Even if it doesn't seem like it would be, but it's BIG. It solved the problem!

 

I fell asleep thinking about this. I woke up thinking about this. I am still thinking about this hours later.

 

Will I be able to do some work today? I don't know

 

Will I care by the end of today? I also don't know

It sure is! I'm trying to distract myself by actually working on stuff, but then it'll hit me all over again and I'm like "oooooooh" you know? I'm very happy I finally got this road block fixed. It's great!

okay but lack of sleep aside, this is one of the best feelings. i always love when that lightbulb moment happens and you're able to move past the block! :D

It is such a good feeling. Lot being able to have a breakthrough and since this one's been there pretty much since the beginning (aka years) it's really nice that it's been figured out. Lightbulb moments are So Good <3
