Quick One Piece Ramble

pineauraI don't know where else to post this so sorry for talking about One Piece here but oh my golly gawsh the latest episode!!
As someone who's more than aware of all the effort that goes into doing animation, I'm not harping on the efforts being made for a weekly show. It's so hard to do just snippets, let alone a whole twenty something minutes and under such delicate time constraints at that. So I get it.
However, Apoo deserved so much better. I'm sooooo sad! This could have been such a cool episode, but it would have been so hard to do that. They have to be careful where to put in the details and the like with the resources and time they have.
In my mind though, this would have been a super cool episode. I love music and animation and this would have been a really solid episode to blend those two worlds together to come up with something rad, you know? Of course, if we had the means to do this the way I have envisioned it we'd have film quality, which is way more than a weekly tv show could reasonably do, you know?
Maybe I'll come up with some concepts, but the point is that the combination of music and animation is what would have made this episode fly with vibrancy! And unfortunately I'm only one person and I can't do what a whole team dedicated to this can do. Alas, it seems it'll have to live in my mindrent free. u.u
