Father decided we were just gonna go to the garden centre. I was under the impression we were just gonna get like three or four things. The only way I could say we met that criteria is if I group into three categories of stuff we got v:

It's a weird feeling though. I love plants and I get excited to go to garden centres and all, but it's being met with the dread that is the pandemic and... we received some troubling news while we were in the midst of looking at plants. So I've ended up with mixed emotions and I don't think that'll go away today :c

In any case, I'm here to talk about the exciting part of things and that is plants! I got plants! So many more plants than I thought I would be able to get. Our garden is looking more like a garden. It's wild!

We had plants in place in some parts, most of which were from last year and all. I got a couple of plants gifted to us, but haven't seen most of them sprouting and I'm trying not to worry for the ones that haven't poked through yet. Hoping it'll come within the month or so. Just to see sprouts would be a nice relief. Also, they're gonna be pretty ones so I wanna see them!

Got some pretty and cute hanging plants for the back, some various flowers to put in both front and back of the place, and a whole bunch of veggies/fruits!

We did hanging plants last year for the first time and they just add so much pretty vibes we simply had to do them again. I was worried we wouldn't be able to this year, but ahhh here they are!

We got mostly annuals for the front because we know that we're going to be redoing the front area sometime in the future. Probably not this year, but maybe next year? I have no idea. I just know that we need to get access to the pipes and that's gonna mess up the front so yeah. No permanent plants.

We got some cute lavender and these itty bitty plants that I forgot what they're called, but they're placed in front of the lavender and ohhhh the pot looks so cute! My father is a big fan, too.

Then we got varying veggies like tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, carrots, among others. We also decided it would be neat just to try out strawberries and watermelon. I don't actually anticipate the fruit to come through, but they are still pretty as just plants, too so I'm excited to have them anyways.

Decided since we were working on all the outdoor plants, that I would deal with my indoor plants, too. Had to re-pot three and topped off soil for the others. They all had a nice wash and now they're enjoying the evening sun as they dry out before I get ready to bring them back inside again.

All in all, a good day for plants! I'm suuuper pooped though so after I eat I'm just gonna collapse into my bed haha
