Twits Done It Again

Wow! No more 'Latest Tweets'. Just what nobody asked for!

The timeline is a hot mess and it wasn't super great to begin with. I don't even feel comfortable liking a tweet anymore (I was already uncertain about it to begin with) because they'll just randomly show up on other people's timelines and nobody signed up for that. It's not even anything bad, but seeing other people's likes on my feed just makes me mad at twitter for doing it. It feels invasive and uncalled for.

Seeing sooo many recommended stuff and hardly anything about the people I actually follow outside of their random likes. Like somehow twitter thinks someone's likes is more important than the actual posts they make or even retweet.

I was already contemplating about just making my twitter an art only place because I've been spending less time online, especially on socials and this is veering me in that direction that much more. I'm pretty certain I'll leave twitter for good one day, but there's still a couple people there I just don't have access to anywhere else and it sucks being in that boat (again).

Why make it an art-only account if nobody is gonna see anything I make? I dunno. The principle of the thing I guess??? I'm somewhat hesitant because Pifo is not an option for me and hasn't been for almost this entire year so far and it's like where else do I even go at this point? DW is nice and cozy and quiet, but like it's technically not meant for art stuff even if I can (and have) post my work here.

Anyways, a mini rant about twitter's change (that they, of course, didn't notify anyone about). It's dumb and I hate it.

the timeline change is awful and so, so stupid. the sheer arrogance of social medias constantly making changes that none of us want and that will probably isolate a fair chunk of users drives me insane -- first facebook (though I guess that has a toggle(? I don't have it anymore so idk if the mixed timeline is permanent now)), then instagram, now this. tumblr tried it but ou can turn it off but for how long, and what's next? it's so frustrating when they should be catering to what people want but constantly change in this way and especially with becoming so invasive. I don't want to see other people's likes! I don't want you to suggest things because you hear my conversations! what!! the hell!!!!!

just, UGH. it is so dumb and I hate it so much too. WHY THIS.

The change is so dumb. I've oddly been reverted back to Latest Tweets, but for how long? It seems to go back and forth and it's super annoying. I do not like twitter and I especially don't like when sites like that make changes with absolutely no head's up or anything.
